Seals for gearboxes, multipliers and powertrains, used in automation, earthmoving, industrial vehicles and wind power. They retain lubricant inside the casing and keep out contaminants. FP Modena supplies these in NBR, FKM/Viton® and PTFE, with dimensional compatibility to the main manufacturers.

Sealing solutions for transmissions and rotating components

Oil seals/Corteco® and lip seals

Fitted on the input and output shafts, these prevent lubricating oil from leaking out. In NBR for standard applications, FKM/Viton® for high temperatures, PTFE for high peripheral speeds.

O-rings for covers, flanges and bearing housings

Static seals for the joint points of the gearbox casing. Compatible with mineral and synthetic PAO or PAG gear oils.

High-pressure lip seals

Reinforced geometry for gearboxes and epicyclic transmissions with significant internal pressure. Withstand differential pressure while maintaining system sealing.

V-ring

Auxiliary axial seals fitted on the shaft, protecting the primary oil seal from the ingress of dust, water and mud. Important in gearboxes for outdoor applications or harsh environments.

Seals for low-speed and oscillating shafts

Lip profiles with an adaptive geometry, for actuators and slow-moving applications. Compensate for misalignment and non-uniform movement.
