Rotary seals

Rotary seals are sealing elements fitted between a shaft and a housing that rotate relative to one another. They retain lubricant and keep out external contaminants. FP Modena supplies these seals in NBR, FKM/Viton®, PTFE, HNBR and silicone, for gearboxes, electric motors, pumps and industrial transmissions.

Lip seal

Lip seals for rotary shafts, also known as Corteco® seals, in single or double-lip design, with or without a garter spring, in NBR, FKM/Viton®, PTFE, HNBR and silicone.

Closure plugs and caps

Plastic or metal components for closing holes in housings and gearbox casings, press-fit or threaded, in metric and imperial sizes.

Oil seal

Commonly used term for the radial lip seal, particularly in maintenance and spares, stocked in metric and imperial sizes, with or without a metal case and integral dust lip.

V-ring

Axial seal in elastomer that rotates with the shaft, in types A, S and L. Protects the primary oil seal from dust and splashing.
