Pneumatic seals

Pneumatic seals ensure sealing in cylinders and actuators running on compressed air, from 2 to 10 bar with peaks up to 20 bar, in the absence of significant lubrication. FP Modena supplies these seals with very low friction, in polyurethane, NBR and PTFE, for ISO, VDMA and custom cylinders.

Pneumatic rod seal

Low-friction seals fitted in the cylinder head, designed to reduce stick-slip and ensure smooth movement even at low speed, in polyurethane, NBR and PTFE.

Pneumatic piston seal

Fitted on the piston, these separate the two chambers and transmit the thrust of the compressed air, in symmetrical double-lip design, in standard and compact profiles.

Wiper seal (dust wiper)

Prevents dust and contaminants entering along the rod, in the absence of the oil film typical of hydraulics. Available in metal, elastomer or composite design.

PDEP piston seals

Variant of the PDE piston seal with a profile designed for pneumatic cylinders with long strokes and high speeds, for greater stability during movement.
