Hydraulic seals

Hydraulic seals ensure sealing in hydraulic cylinders and pressurised components operating under load, preventing leakage between rod, piston and cylinder bore. FP Modena supplies these seals in polyurethane, NBR, FKM/Viton® and filled PTFE, with profiles interchangeable with the main international standards, for pressures up to and beyond 700 bar.

Rod seal

Fitted in the cylinder head, these prevent oil from leaking along the rod. Single, double or composite lip, in polyurethane, NBR, FKM/Viton® and filled PTFE.

Piston seal

Fitted on the piston, these separate the two chambers of the cylinder, in symmetrical or asymmetrical design, single or double lip, in polyurethane, NBR and filled PTFE.

PDE piston seals

Seals for double-acting hydraulic pistons, with an optimised profile for bidirectional sealing and low friction.

Symmetrical rod and piston seal

Bidirectional seals for rod and piston duty. Simplify stockholding, suited to double-acting cylinders with moderate, symmetrical pressures.

Roto-IGR and Roto-EGR

Versions of the piston seal for oscillating or slow rotary motion. Used in rotary actuators, orbital motors, rotary distributors and bottling machinery.

Wear band

Component in filled PTFE, phenolic fabric or polyamide that centres the rod and piston in the bore, absorbing radial loads, in open or closed design.

Guide ring

Compact version of the wear band, for reduced installation space, in PTFE with bronze or carbon, filled polyamide or POM.
